Google says that doxxing would mean someone trying to expose information about her, but from what I've been reading, it seems like the Russians (and consequently anons) were trying to find her IRL though, like a manhunt.

I think the Bonbi incident sheds light on the whole concept of streaming on the Internet in general. Anyone who streams (or possibly makes videos like on YouTube) could be vulnerable to this sort of action, depending on how dedicated somebody is. I think most streamers are aware of the potential security issues when it comes to streaming online, so they knowingly take that risk. This is why it's important to be careful about what you share over the Internet.

Perhaps Bonbi was young and didn't think too much about Internet privacy. It's unfortunate that she got scared off from what she loved to do.

Anyway, thanks for the clarification. Hopefully she reconsiders not streaming, but I'm pretty sure that she's stopped doing so permanently.
