Let’s talk about the toxicity in the pro recovery community.

I think it’s hard to be 100% recovered, I think you may (or may not, we’re all different and I’m just a rando on the internet) always struggle with some portion of your ED even once your “recovered” (whatever that looks like for the individual). You may always be mentally counting cals, or comparing yourself, counting someone else’s calls, etc. whether or not you’re able to push that aside and not let it affect you is the strength that comes with recovery.

With that being said, IMO it seems like the “recovered” individuals may still enjoy being seen as “thinspo” or being seen as a trigger/goal what have you to others that are not recovered.
