"Let us up!" Chants fill the air as Capitol security blocks entry and lawmakers expel officials who support gun violence prevention

I'm not playing this game. you posted legal precedent, I'm saying there's more than precedent at play. You make it seem like they kicked them out for no reason. They had a reason. Legitimate or illegitimate is not the point. They had a reason and it was codified in their rules. I'm not debating the wrong or right of this or what the outcome should be. I will say the normal rules do not apply when you are in Congress, state or federal. Things that would normally be actionable legally or not actionable when you are in that context. Example: you have an absolute right to say anything about anyone when in Congress and they cannot be held liable legally no matter how wrongful the statement. if you make the same statement on the street you can be held liable. so much more complicated than you would have us believe.
