Let's Argue: What are Your Biggest Unpopular Opinions about the Criterion Collection? Can be about a Particular Movie, the company itself, or such.

I have watched several John Waters films, i think Multiple Maniacs has more artistic value than Pink Flamingos, and i haven't watched Polyester so i didn't mention those 2 being in the collection.I've seen the defense of this film being about it's relevance to the lgbtq+ movement, i think one of my favorite films (Fox and His Friends) has more relevance to that movement than a film trying to seen how depraved it can be, besides the fact that John Waters is gay and the appearance of Divine, this film makes no mention of anything that would make it relevant to the movement. If the idea is to put every controversial film that has had an effect on "popular" culture then by all means go ahead, but i want more exploitation and splatter being added if that's the case, if instead the reasoning is to add it for the shock effect Melancholie der Engel does a better job and therefore it should also be added.I can say I'm not a fan of the film, i don't see it's value, and i wouldn't care if it were lost to history, and i vaguely remember John Waters saying something along the lines of "I don't know who'd be messed up enough to enjoy my movies", and i stand by that even if he didn't say it and it ends up being a false memory of mine. There's better things to watch out there, in the collection or in the wilderness of the avant-garde filmmakers that only 5 people know about. And i don't know why people downvote me in an Unpopular Opinions thread, what did you guys expected? Geez.
