Let's do away with this "F2P" fiction. All these games are "free to try". "Free" is not a business model

I started playing day 1 of release, and I've spent maybe 20$ total on the game in 3 years. (Early arena runs in my first few months) I've been able to craft almost every meta deck of every expansion. I've remained competitive as I'm sitting at 481 legend on the ladder right now.

On day 1 of ungoro I bought 41 packs with gold I saved up. Had enough dust to craft Elise, the rogue quest, the warrior quest, two primordial drakes, a sleep with the fishes, 2 faceless shamblers, 2 dirty rats, and a few rares. Still have about 2k dust left over and I'm saving gold for the next expac.

It has undoubtedly been possible to be free to play up to this point. Although with the new policy of 3 expacs a year, I've yet to see how that's going to effect my free to playness. It may hurt it. But as of now, it's looking like I'll be able to craft the next expacs meta decks without spending a dime again.

But I will add that I probably play a lot more than the average player. I usually get the 100 gold from 30 wins a day on top of quests. Add in that I've been playing for 3 years.
