Let's be honest, most of us like upgrades, they come always with a ton of new features

Yeah, but I think they want to make iOS und macOS more similar to make it more easy for users which for example have an iPhone but are Windows users that switch to macOS. So for new macOS users the new UI could make more sense to them. But as I said you will get used to it and it will not feel strange anymore. It's always like that when an UI design gets changed.

What other nice "improvements" does Ventura have?

Funny thing is I found a lot of cool and little improvements but now I can't really remember them. I'm already so used to Ventura. But what comes to my mind is in Disk Utility there is finally a snapshot management tool and iCloud Drive is better to manage in Finder. Also privacy and security has got more features which I like. I also like the new features on the native apps like Notes, Reminder, Home etc. which came also to iOS 16. I also use als the ecosystem features between the devices and this alone is the upgrade worth.

Also they got finally rid of some bugs in Monterey. But don't ask me which ones, I can't already remember them. Mostly those are little improvements. So when you saw them you already forgot which one they were.

But overall working with Ventura feels a lot better than with Monterey to me. But I will try to remember which little improvements I liked and will make a list.
