Let's talk about the elephant in the room. The reason people are angry at /r/short is that heightism is the greatest proof of female hypergamy mankind has ever known.

listen,

I reread your OP because frankly we are screaming past each other and don't even know what we are arguing about.

and I agree with most everything.

From YOUR original post

One of these most persistent myths is that females are attracted to sensitive men with good (read: gentle)

that is true and closer to my point that women want good looking robust "manly men" more than a rich short ugly guy.... i.e. hypergamy based on looks

And the supporting myths that males care more about looks than do females and that females will fall in love with "good men" (gentle, generous, gifting) if females are allowed complete sexual freedom, unencumbered by social stigma.

I basically agreed with you and repeated it in my term "hypergamous about looks"

That is my point in that women are hypergamous about looks more so now in western modern nations because women no longer need a stable provider.

And my point about "slut walks" and such. Women and Feminism is little by little taking away this stigma; it's the "you go girl, you deserve a good looking better man" taken to the extreme into "ya, fuck and have fun with bad boys in your youth" a la now semi infamous "advice" of Sheryl Sandberg

"When looking for a life partner, my advice to women is date all of them: the bad boys, the cool boys, the commitment-phobic boys, the crazy boys. But do not marry them. The things that make the bad boys sexy do not make them good husbands. When it comes time to settle down, find someone who wants an equal partner. Someone who thinks women should be smart, opinionated and ambitious. Someone who values fairness and expects or, even better, wants to do his share in the home. These men exist and, trust me, over time, nothing is sexier.”

Feminism is and will eventually catch up to fully embrace women to become PROUD of dating only tall good looking men.

That's all I really want to point out.
