So let's talk about IRS letter 6174-A..

I called the number and left a message. I had a Coinbase account on and off from 2013-2017. But I was buying small amounts of btc and and then sending it out of Coinbase to play online poker. Never really held any money in my account. Every once in a while I’d win but over the 4 years I probably lost 10-15k. And my Coinbase account isn’t even open anymore so I can’t even get my past transaction history. Not sure what to do with my 6174-A letter. Even if I got audited I’m not sure how they could figure out if I owe something, most likely the govt owes me for transaction fee loses.

Never reported anything on my taxes because I always lost money. Now I’m worried I’m gonna get audited for basically nothing.
