Let's talk in our natlangs!

Hei! Hvordan går det?

I really love the Norwegian language. I'm learning Norwegian through Duolingo, and I'm on Level 13 with a day streak of 343 (I'm slowly progressing!). I understand somewhat basic written Norwegian (the only problem really is vocabulary - I can't really converse without knowing what a word in Norwegian means). Soon I'd like to immerse myself in Norwegian media (possibly movies and series, maybe books and articles), and I really wish to travel around Norway itself! My uncle moved to Sweden not too long ago for studies, but I was kinda bummed out that he didn't get any chance to go to Norway (I mean he's living near Norway, and at least he gets a similar feeling as Norwegians do in their country, while I live in Sydney where summers are really hot and winters are not too cold - I've never touched snow in my life!!!). My family would visit him there one day, but I guess going to Sweden may help my norsk in some way (they say that learning Norwegian will allow you to be able to understand more written than spoken Danish and probably be able to understand spoken and possibly written Swedish - but is this true with you?)
