Kanye has too many verse features on his songs. Sometimes they're actually thematically fitting or lyrically up to par and I don't mind it, and obviously there are notably amazing features like Nicki on Monster or Chance on Ultralight Beam -- but many are not, like Jay on Monster, or Raekwon on Gorgeous. It's like he's just tacked on there. But even if all the features were amazing, I'm still listening to Kanye West albums because I want to listen to Kanye West, which leads me to my next point: some songs have way too little Kanye on them. So Appalled is my go-to example. Gone is another one, which is especially sad because that's some of Ye's best bars.
