I agree! Someone should take some of these works from Marx and others and just dumb them down to a 5th grade reading level or start making memes of all of the important points or something.

I developed a lot of empathy as well after reading books like "Between the World and Me" by Ta-Neshi Coates and "Nickled and Dimed" by Barbara Ehrenreich. I think a lot of leftist thought comes from a place of empathy, understanding, and wanting to pull people out of the misery this system has created. It's insane to me that the philosophies that come from that place of empathy get treated as literally the most evil things in the world.

I've never been too vocal about this stuff, but I may just make a new reddit and twitter account and try to start sharing stuff in a positive way.
