i get so confused why people are so hard on themselves about enjoying food and punishing themselves for it. Food isn't just about nutrients, it can be emotional when shared with friends or indulging in delicacies. it sounds like your punishing yourself by only eating once a day and then going to the gym 6 days a week. with all that rigidity, wouldn't seem like you have time for anything.
i'm not a psychologist or anything but maybe what you think is food addiction is wrapped up in some unsettled emotions from your past that need to be dealt with through therapy or counseling. people turn to food as an unhealthy coping mechanism for emotional trauma.
