some factor could be environment, timing and technique! In the case for environment, memorize in quiet places like the library is the best! For timing, it really depends on when your brain is “awake”. Technique wise, the main reason why you can’t get in is probably you don’t understand what the example is, you got to appreciate the examples, like one example I would use for Dams in hard engineering for Flood management is Three Gorges Dam since it’s most common among all Jcs, I will read through the case study, highlight keypoints that will help substantiate and write it down in my outline, eventually as you understand and internalize the examples, it will become a trigger when you think of the main point!
