[A Levels] Is A lvl really THAT hard? How feasible/realistic is it to actually get 90rp for 4H2s subjects?

sorry to break your bubble but the difficulty of getting 90rp is severely inflated by other users on this thread.

i’m currently a J2 taking 4H2+1H3 studying in a top jc. 90rp is nothing impressive, in fact it’s the norm in my JC, hence i’m taking a H3 to “stand out” from the rest. But even so, there are even more talented people in my JC who takes 2H3s (13 AUs) so getting straight As for 4H2s is really nothing for these people.

im also from the IP stream and i feel that the IP papers are of similar rigour and difficulty to the A levels. also, have you participated in Singapore olympiads (math, informatics etc.)? if so, the relevant subjects will be a lot easier. i’ve personally obtained a few medals and found the relevant subjects (math, computing etc.) a more manageable as i had prior additional knowledge. (even without studying, i was still ranked top 5% of cohort >95 percentile)

there were even people in my cohort, representing SG in international olympiads, national athletic teams or even undertaking tech internships (like myself) even amidst our A-level year.
