Ehh, kind of. There are a lot of humans with pollentias that never manifest powers because, if a shard is specific enough in its remit, the host simply won't trigger unless the right circumstances come about. Going by Word-of-God, QA is fairly permissive with power classifications, but there's no guarantee of Brute/Blaster powers specifically.

As for recs, Fragmentation has a Changer!Taylor where she ends up as a sentient swarm of insects. It doesn't do anything new with the trigger event itself.
