LG’s New Affordable UltraGear Gaming Monitor, 23.6″ 144Hz 24GN50W

24GL600F is actually one of the best gaming monitors once you set the contrast to 68 or lower. The ghosting+input lag performance is great.

240hz is still a sidegrade compared to 144hz, as 240hz has wonky overdrive/overshoot. Especially if a game can't maintain 220-240 fps at all times.

Same goes for IPS; it's still another sidegrade, even with the new "1ms" IPS displays that claim to match TN performance. People who shill IPS, who have never experienced a good TN in their life and attribute IPS being better to their own placebo.

Don't believe marketing and placebo. 1080p 144hz TN is still the gold standard.

I'll probably pick up a 24GN50W after seeing detailed reviews on it. I can't imagine it being a downgrade from 24GL600F or 24GM77.
