LGBT and not sitting comfortably

/r/LGBT is awful too. Got banned for explaining a religious leader's point of view. The person who told me to go to hell multiple times? No ban for him. They knew I was bi, too. And the worst part? I messaged the mods saying that it's not fair to just ban someone for having an opinion or whatever, and they got triggered too.

There is a huge difference between not agreeing with them versus actually being homophobic and they simply don't understand that. For example, I don't agree with Islam, but that doesn't make me Islamophobic -- it just means I have something I believe in instead of Islam.

Communities like that just give the entire minority an awful reputation, and I have heard others complain about "gay culture" too -- it has almost nothing to do with acceptance, and everything to do with demeaning anyone who could dare respectfully disagree
