Firstly, the article states that he was murdered with hits to the head, I don't see any mention of burning on a stake or whatever. He was also an activist, which always comes with a danger of pissing people. Was he attacked because he was gay? Who knows. Maybe a lover squabble? Yes it's a Christian nation and all those nations in Africa be it Muslim or Christian are kinda shit. It's not religion, it's people.

Secondly, I am anti all religions, however I dislike the overly negative painting of Christianity as a root of all evil. This is ridiculous. At this point, Christianity is pacified and on the decline. The only religion that is increasing and becoming more hostile is Islam, so maybe we should focus on this one first. If all churches are replaced by mosques, you haven't done anything good you know.
