Think of all of the ridiculous examples of obvious media fuckery in the last four years, and then think of the fact that people are still lapping it up by the tens of millions. It’s enough to make you lose faith in humanity.

Maybe this will be the story that breaks people out of the spell. I mean, it’s absolutely fucking ridiculous from top to bottom. The complete media non-coverage, coupled with the social media blackout, and to top it all off the fact that the Biden team responded with “hurr, that meeting wasn’t on our schedule”. This should be enough to finally make people realize that social media and cable news are at best unreliable, and at worst deliberately misleading. I’m just not holding out hope that this will happen. I’ve had the same thought a dozen times this year, most recently when the media covered Biden’s repeated dodging of the court packing question with about 1% of the time that they gave to “stand back and stand by”. I keep thinking “people will get it aaaany second now”, and I keep discovering new depths of disappointment.

Here’s hoping this is the story that redpills suburban moms.
