Liberals of Reddit, she lost, years ago. Why can't you get over it?

OK not American and not a Hilary Supporter, but feel something needs pointing out here:

She didn't lose, she won, she got the most votes, that is winning in a democracy, it is only America's corrupt fucked up system that kept her out of power, being screwed out of a win is not the same as losing in my book.

Also the EC voting against the popular vote has only happened five times in history, every time to install an unwanted Republican leader, and most tellingly the most recent times of those five were the last two Republican presidents: Trump and Bush Jr.

This means a Republican leader hasn't taken the presidency with the support of the country since the eighties! So if we're talking about things that people should 'get over' it is Republicans who should be 'getting over' the fact they aren't wanted anymore, they are an embarrassing relic of a gone by era! I mean the fucking eighties man, their policies and opinions haven't been popular since mullets were cool, Milli Vanilli were storming the charts and people wore shellsuits! Some time you just gotta realise it's time to give up, because honestly it's getting embarrassing to watch now... Like a fat guy in double denim and a Magnum PI moustache moonwalking into the club and thinking he still cool.

I mean when you need to suck Russian cock to get help cheating your way to power, and purge election records and gerrymander the shit out of the country to keep clinging to this power you gotta realise you're not what the country wants right?
