Life can be a struggle for many.
I happen to have had a little luck along the way; Born in Canada; Father was a mean weekend drunk; parents divorced when I was like 7; Dad DIED when I was just 12. Single mom with 3 kids meant that money was tight. If us kids wanted anything: we had to go out and earn it! Been working since I was 12! Never id the college or uni thing; lucked into Public Sector/Transit jobs at age 20 and never looked back!
Stayed clear of drugs and alcohol while growing up. Never the mot popular guy in school; had a few short term relationships in school and a few crushes. Met my wife when I was 25/26; married at 28. Tried for kids but it was not to be. Surrounded by great family and friends; able to travel 2-3 times a year; have dealt with health issues and flooding issues over the years; have also won 2 cars!
Some have a little better luck in life than others; some fall victim to various vices and demons in life; some struggle financially and health wise.
It's best, in my opinion, to set achievable goals in life; to travel as often as possible; to avoid illegal drugs or excessive drinking. Never hit or abuse the ones you love.
