Life Begins at Conception (Except When That’s Inconvenient for Republicans): It’s almost as if abortion bans aren’t actually about “life” at all.

Think of the classic trolley example. Would you push a fat man on the train tracks to stop a train from plowing into a crowd of people?

In this example, without more information on how valuable to the species the people are. I would do nothing. If I ABSOLUTELY had to do something I'd push the fat man onto the tracks. They are less valuable to the species for being unhealthy and overweight. (They cost more to society being obese among other reasons.)

But you’d still be a murderer.

Depends on your definition of murderer. My understanding of the word is : If I purposely due to personal reasons kill someone that is murder. If I have to kill one to save the many all I'm doing is based on my knowledge of the situation, saving the many over the one; Not murder in my eyes.

You would sacrifice one to save many others. And you’d be saving actual people, not just “potential” people.

This is a bit touchy, I don't see how it matters whether its living people or the ingredients for people. Which one will produce more humans? The embryos. Not the individual.

The one that is, or produces the most people saved will be the one I choose.
