Life virtually back to normal by 21 June

True... living and working virtually will be perfectly normal by 21 June.

But seriously, normal won't happen for years probably, because we are now in an arms race with variants.

By June there will be several more variants and we have no idea if current vaccines will work for them. Everyone who knows anything about medicine & virology is praying that on-the-ground vaccine uptake gets ahead of the number of emerging variants.

The longer large-scale vaccination takes, the more variants appear, so the more chance of them evolving to "escape" current vaccines.

And if some countries can't get enough vaccines, they will become the source of most variants and global travel will be limited. It's important that this is done globally, but it's going to take much longer than 6 months. That's a ridiculous fantasy.
