Life without kids… is fun.

I actually teach human sexuality courses, and it's crazy how ill-informed people are about sexuality in the US. I know from experience...I had abstinence-only sex ed when I was a student. My school brought in a guy with AIDS to talk about how sex is bad and describe how he is going to die pretty soon. It was kind of traumatic, and several people started crying.

We were also forced to sign virginity pledges to pass the health class. If we refused, we failed the course. Also, students of the same sex could get suspended for openly dating. It was a "don't ask, don't tell" kind of thing where any outward displays of affection were considered too uncomfortable for the general public to handle.
