In light of our recent fame, I just want to remind our posters that many women suffer dead bedrooms at the hands of awful, unsympathetic, callous partners.

You made some good points. I'm coming at it from a male POV. Your objective fitness matters much more than your subjective feelings about your fitness, for both your health and your attractiveness to your partner. Others here are welcome to disagree, but I think confidence is much more important for male attractiveness than female. Because men are objective. You're either fit or you're not.

Speaking from firsthand experience in the field, a 180 lb 5'6" woman who is so confident she thinks she's super hot is actually not hot, more annoying, compared to one with same build who knows she's out of shape and is at least trying to work on it. Heck, if I thought she was legit and not a bullshit artist, I would take her with me and let her share my workouts and my meal plans too, if that would help. Zero tolerance for self-bullshitters though. I've known a lot of them.

i need more weights, don't have because money

My favorite weights for goblet squats and lunges are kettlebells, just because they are comfortable to hold onto close to your chest. Dumbbells work too, of course. I just outgrew my largest dumbbells and got some cheap from Walmart a couple days ago. They sell cheap kettlebells too. I don't know your build, but maybe a 20 lb to start if you're in reasonable shape? $25.68.

I actually like strength training over cardio to control body fat (esp. people who drink Gatorade the whole time on the bike), but a cheap jumprope is invaluable for your cardio training if you don't have access to a gym and can't afford aerobics classes, etc. The weights in the handles don't really do anything. You can throw them away. When you're ready, you can move up to a weighted rope, which makes a huge difference.
