The Lighthouse is the greatest incentive i've had to play PvP ever, too bad i'll never see it

Trials is really tough, but you'll get it. You need to find people to carry you if you aren't that good. I'm an almost decent PvE player. PvP is really tough for me, but I'm 'good' enough to have earned my Thorn. My first run at Trials a few days ago was dismal, played with a few of my normal raid buddies that are good at PvE.

Last night however, I played with some other friends that play a lot of PvP. They already went 9-0 twice on other characters earlier in the day.

We we were up 8-0 overall in Trials and things were pretty hectic. We just needed one more win and the Lighthouse was ours! My heart was racing, my hands were sweating. The pucker factor was high. The team we were up against was good. We were tied up, match point. It was all on the line. Time to fucking shine.

The other team had 2 down, my 2 teammates got Titan smashed by the enemies final player, and it was all up to me.

I took the last guy out, but as I did, he was throwing a grenade while trying to revive a downed teammate. He collapsed, dead from my Hawkmoon's fiery shrieks of death hammers. I smiled as his grenade blasted me into oblivion, thinking I had at least tied it up. We'd have another chance.

Nope.

His teammate was revived in the middle of our exchange. Our 9-0 slipped through the fingers of my dying warlock.

So. Fucking. Close.

We didn't make the 9-0. It could have worked out, it just didn't. Maybe it was...Destiny?

My point of all of this is that if you find the right team, you can totally do it. It might take some time, but I'm sure it will happen. I'm confident that I'll be able to do it, and so should you.

Eyes up, guardian!
