Do you like the brand Ralph Lauren or not? Why?

Used to but the quality of the clothing has decreased significantly. I have a long sleeve polo shirt from college that is over 20 years old and it is in great shape still. Then I have a rugby shirt that is only two years old and it is falling apart. It was to damaged to even donate. So they are no longer a quality product in my view and there products vary in quality to greatly for me to to be able to justify the cost. I've found that the same thing has happened to a lot more companies in this category.

Went into a Banana Republic and was unable to find anything that I would purchase from them because it was all poorly made clothes with bad stitching, mismatched blocking, and the quality of the fabrics was very poor and thin. I refrain from purchasing clothes from Polo, Banana Republic, and JCrew. I don't mind spending good money on quality clothing that will last a long time but when a shirt falls apart in the washer in six months I have to stop all future purchases from that company.

Quality control used to be a thing and you would find slips of paper in your pockets saying that it was inspected by number 243 or whatever.

Stay away from Ralph Lauren shoes because they are all horrible hot garbage and will fall apart faster than a pair of knockoff keds.
