Thanks, man. FWIW, I believe in counseling, I recommend it to others all the time - but I had no rapport w/the one I tried. Was supposed to get 5 sessions, and when she texted to confirm the 5th I said, "Thanks for everything you've done, but I was going to cancel that one" (it was days away). She never responded to my text. I thought that was pretty funny (also unprofessional), but I was sort of ghosted by my therapist!

I was on antidepressants when younger, and resisted this time because of the sort of distance from my feelings, and other side effects that I felt they created in me. That said, I've about reached the point I'll go there again, for a while, anyway.
