Not wanting everything to have a trigger warning doesn’t make someone an edge lord. Wanting trigger warnings specifically for a certain gender does make someone a snowflake. Especially considering that you can pause and fast forward through scenes that might trigger you very easily.

Yes seeing the still birth did contribute to the plot. It showed the massive pain Rhae went through triggered by the death of her father and actions of the Greens. Events outside her control. It showed the emotional connection she has to her dragon and reenforced the “battlefield comments made by her mother in ep 1.
