I like this game.

I actually thought it was way better than a 7/10. Don't get me wrong, it's a really flawed game and there's a moment near the end where all your allies gather in one of those convenience stores, and that moment really made me realize how shitty the cast was in this game. (Like, this NPC that talked to me 4 times to give me fetch quests is actually Noctis's 5th best friend or something, that's how few exciting characters the game has.)

But when I think of the fun I had playing it, it's the #2 PS4 experience for me, losing only to DQ11 and beating the likes of Persona 5, Bloodborne, Witcher 3, etc.

No questions that TW3 is a better game, but FFXV was made for me. Everything about it is warm and welcoming, catering to my tastes: the cast, the weaponry, the summons. A flawed game that was made for me is better than a nearly perfect game that was made for someone else. As a FF fan, I was very happy with it and I would play a thousand more games like FFXV. I would obviously prefer to have better stories, more cities, more characters and party members, but the time you spend with the 4 characters totally makes up for its flaws.
