I want to be like a housewife from the 1900s when women worked really hard and had less rights.

I've always wanted this too. I'm 19 and my dream is to pretty much live on a homestead in America (I'm Australian so you can see how this is an issue) with a husband and raise our kids to camp, farm, be self-sufficient, all of that. Have some veggie crops, horses, a dog.

My mother was a stay at home housewife from when I was four-year-old and I always really respected that dynamic between my parents. I loved the satisfaction I got from helping my mum cook my dad and brother a meal after they'd been doing stuff outside. Hell, I still cook my brother meals and drop them at his house sometimes just because I like the feeling of providing people with food.

I mentioned this life I want to my friends once and was absolutely roasted by them so it's really nice to see there's actually quite a lot of people who want this kind of life. Now it's just trying to meet them in real life that's the hard part...
