It's like poetry, it rhymes.

In general, I didn't hate the first movie. There was some good stuff in there. It was reasonably faithful to the books and the Misty Mountains seemed like as good a place as any to divide the movie into two. Two was really where it started getting mired in its own shit. The third one I remember nothing from. It's a three hour movie based on the last few pages of the book, but it had to be there so they could have a random Orc fight and tie it in with Lord of the Rings because God forbid this be allowed to be its own thing. It's weird considering that The Lord of the Rings was actually a fairly faithful adaptation of the books and that's what fans liked.
