Sure technically speaking you're right. But Billie Ray's albums do count for the billboard's country charts and he's had two #1 albums on it.

Not sure why country music is so against embracing this song. Nearly half of the current songs on the country billboard charts would not qualify as strictly "country". I don't understand the double standard of allowing all of those songs to chart yet taking such an ardent stand against this one. Maybe it's racism, maybe it's the straw that broke that camel's back regarding people just saying their music is country to get some appeal, but it's a hypocritical and double standard decision. Either this and half the songs on the billboard aren't country or they are. You shouldn't be allowed to pick and choose.
