To explain the LHP properly would take too long. To sum it up poorly, the left hand path is our darkness:

"In Western esotericism the Left-Hand Path and Right-Hand Path are the dichotomy between two opposing approaches to magic. This terminology is used in various groups involved in the occult and ceremonial magic. In some definitions, the Left-Hand Path is equated with malicious black magic and the Right-Hand Path with benevolent white magic."

The left hand path teaches us to embrace our dark natures and desires, our dark energies, on the journey to become more whole and understanding of ourselves. You need both yin and yang, both good and evil. You cannot reach enlightenment or nirvana by leaving out and ignoring either one as they are both part of yourself.

Lilith is a prime left hand path deity and energy. Loving and caring but destructively brutal in its approach. I do not recommend people work with her energy unless they are ready and willing to, as it can turn your life upside down and shake you from your podium. It's not good nor is it bad. It's like dealing with a storm.

Those who are not ready hide and wait it out, those that seek empowerment and change charge out into it and embrace its chaos and unpredictable nature. They find themselves and what they are looking for inside of it. She is about embracing our extremes and becoming stronger for it. Those that are not strong enough may find themselves drowning in the waves of that storm.

She can bring you dominion or she can bring you ruin. But she is only one of the major left hand path deities. Each deity represents a facet of ourselves we must face, embrace, and overcome. And that includes the dark ones as well.
