As someone who briefly attended GSA meetings in high school, this is just hilarious. Our teacher sponsor was a middle aged straight woman and the kids were all Otakus in animal ear hats. The occasional makeout session happened, but was immediately stopped. Most members were supportive straight girls too. We also made bracelets to sell and one day a year they had a day of silence where they didn't talk to represent closeted people (I didn't do it because I was so dedicated to school and being successful). Just funny how insidious they make it out to be.

Lastly, I get a chuckle out of being called some sexual deviant when I'm still a virgin in my mid-twenties.
