But just remember that this is his first season back from missing the last few months of 2021. And he’s still putting up an OBP better than .360 to go along with an OPS above .950. In a deflated baseball season where it’s like 1968 again. If this is the most vulnerable he is as a hitter, that speaks volume to his greatness. He’s had over 320 plate appearances (just counting at bats, walks, hit by pitches, and sacrifice flies) for the 2022 regular season.
