Well, one nice thing about the USA is that it has a variety of cities that offer different climates and lifestyles. Of course you would think LA or NY would be the logical destination for marketing reasons, but it would also be pretty fun to play somewhere like Seattle, Austin, or Vancouver (not in the USA). Valeri can tell him all about the wonders of Portland.

Personally, I'd say LA is one of the more polarizing cities to live in due to the massive sprawl and congestion. I suspect that's part of what drove Zlatan and Gerrard out of town rather quickly. It's not for everyone, and even if you are rich footballer, getting around can be a hassle.

Wasn't Messi heavily linked to Man City/NYCFC? I can really see him rocking the big beard and playing in New York like Pirlo. If he wants to play in MLS, the league will bend over backwards to accommodate his preference.
