A list of Grievances for the Titans

I have one of each character at lvl 34, and while I agree that Titan is the least effective in PvP, I have some thoughts about your take on it.

1. No Blink - Well, I really don't think Titans should have blink. I don't look at Titans and think "Magician" or "Ninja" like I do with the other two classes. They seem more like a physical "Juggernaut" type class to me. That said, there should be some sort of alternative that isn't like a magic POOF into mid air.

I saw that the new Warlock subclass will have the ability to teleport forward a short distance by clicking in the left thumbstick while their super is active... How about something like this for Titans? Similar to the shoulder charge dash but without the smash at the end of it... you just maintain your sprint coming out of it... maybe they sprint and then hit L3 while on the ground or jumping to dash roughly Blink distance in whatever direction they're sprinting in.

This doesn't allow them to blink straight up into the air or anything, but I really don't think Titans should have that kind of "magic" at their disposal. It just doesn't really fit the idea of the class, in my opinion.

2. Being out-tanked by Warlocks - This is understandable. There really should be more Titan armour that is survivability-based. I don't have a problem with Warlocks being tanky, since they have the ability to cast magic and have a subclass (Sunsinger) based around acquiring overshields, resurrecting, etc. That said, Titans really seem like they're supposed to be the "Tank" type class in this game, so they really should have more skills or equips based around survivability.

3. T-rex arms - Agreed. Should definitely have a bit more range with melee. Not as far as Warlocks, since magic should be able to go father than an arm's length, but it should be stronger than the Warlocks and definitely a bit better range than it is now.

4. Bad Melees (and perks for melee) - Agreed. One of the biggest issues I have is how ineffective Titan's melee skills are... If you're going to require a kill to activate the melee skill, at least make the melee do enough damage to get a kill with.

5. Identity Crisis - Pretty much covered already, but I see Titans as more of a physical force than a magic user. With this in mind, I can understand Warlocks having a longer range melee and the ability to tank up with defensive magic. Titans should have a shorter range melee, but it should be devastating, and they should definitely have better survivability than the other two classes.

6. Exotics - Definitely need to improve exotics, but, again, I really think they should be based more around survivability. Titans should be powerhouses at close range combat, and they should be tanky enough to close distance. If their skills aren't going to allow for this, their equipment should.

7. Supers - I'm fine with Titan supers as they are. Defender Titans are obviously better in PvE, and Strikers are much better suited to PvP. I see no problem with that. The only issue I have is nearly every time I try to rush more than one person with my FoH, I end up getting killed/sniped before I even get in range to use it. This is another issue that should be fixed with better survivability.

Hunters have a much better argument when it comes to this. I can't help but feel that they're almost useless in PvE... There's nothing like watching a Hunter pop his GG and put 3 shots into a major without killing it, or rush a couple enemies as a Bladedancer and just end up suiciding. I ran lvl 34 PoE with two Bladedancers last night, and they both decided to rush the Round 4 Knight boss with their supers once we got him down to about 1/4 health... well, obviously, that was an instant suicide for both of them, as one stomp got them both killed, and I was quickly overrun by wizards, forcing us to start all over again.

The third subclassed coming out will give Titans a much better super for both range and close combat, so this should be fixed soon. Hopefully the new Hunter super will have some use in PvE as well, although it really just looks like another PvP subclass to me.

8. Grenades - They're strong enough. Defenders have very powerful sticky grenades that explode twice, and Strikers have lightning grenades AND flashbangs. Titans and Warlocks have the most OP and best variety of grenades in the game, in my opinion.

9. Shoulder Charge - Extremely OP when you make contact, and not as easy to use as it looks. Very few things make me rage harder than being on the wrong end of a ridiculous, tracking, mid-air Shoulder Charge in PvP. It's fine as is.

TL;DR - No Blink, no tracking grenades, better survivability. Agree with everything else.
