A list of lightsaber techniques taught at the Korriban Academy.

From my understanding of light saber battles within the Star Wars universe (movies, but much more through novels, comics, etc), The Force plays a significantly larger role in saber duel outcomes than technique.

When describing duels, the individuals involved are using the Force to anticipate, and sometimes almost 'see', what the opponent will do before it happens. At times it seems akin to 'spidey sense.' For example, one might get a force 'nudge' that he should duck at a certain moment an attack is about to come.

At other times, and especially when an individual is acutely in tune with The Force, it seems they can quite literally see what their opponent is thinking, and what moves will be coming next.

I see this most with Jedi, as it seems when Sith allow their anger and rage to become more and more uncontrollable their power and strength increases, their clumsiness and predictability also increases.

So this graphic makes a lot of sense, from a 'Sith' point of view. Of course the Sith would think all of these techniques would work - because they feel that their superior connection with The Force protects them, and insures them victory.

History, or canon would say that this is not often the case. Jedi, when in tune and at peace with the force, show an ability to outsmart, and out maneuver their Sith opponents.

Just my two cents.
