List of things that aren’t needed while pregnant! Save your money for the baby or a nice dress for yourself =)

Maternity clothes, yes, if you need them. This pregnancy I've needed them from 12 weeks, blergh.

Jojoba oil for your belly. You can use it for when baby comes too...cures cradle cap naturally. Actually jojoba oil (the pure, yellow looking stuff) is great for your skin and hair, and you can use it to massage baby, too. It's water soluble, so doesn't stain anything. I buy the Jojoba Company one. Comes in a glass bottle. Don't get anything not in glass.

Homeopathic tissue salts, especially ferra phos and mag phos. Mag phos helps the baby not to have colic when he/she comes into the world. Nat phos for you when you get heartburn. I keep them on me always.

Gaviscon for when you have raging heartburn. Omfg. I tried to stay natural with the nat phos, but I couldn't handle waiting for it to kick in.

Magnesium bath salts for soaking your poor legs in the tub. They're sold at Costco for super cheap compared to other places.

Pregnancy pillow FOR SURE. I got it when I was 4 weeks.

Shoes that are at least 1 size up and easy to put on and off as your tummy gets bigger. I chose running Nikes and wear them at work as well. Feet get swollen, love!

A glass water bottle. Or a few. You get thirsty as hell, and sick of drinking from plastic. Get one from Amazon with the bamboo lid. Unbreakable. My 6 year old cheeky boy tried.

Raspberry leaf tea for 36 weeks onwards. For your uterus.

Fenugreek supplement to be taken after pregnancy...it is a galactagogue so boosts milk supply exponentially. They also sell mother's milk tea, but it's quite gross and didn't work for me. Do not have during pregnancy as it can cause uterine contractions.

If you suffer from anxiety a lot but can't take anything for it...Nutralife Brahmi 6000. Works wonders. I didn't get any weepy pregnancy symptoms, nor anxiety, plus it boosts your memory, but you've gotta take it for at least 6 weeks and ongoing. It's actually an Indian herbal medicine that is used during pregnancy, too, although no western studies have been done on it for pregnancy. Whatever, if it's worked for hundreds of years + for them, it works for me.

A good backpack instead of a handbag to carry your snacks and drinks around in.

Cloth maternity pads for postpartum bleeding, and a menstrual cup for later on when you get your period again.

Bra extenders.... because seriously you won't need a maternity bra until you have the baby. Just get some cheap bras that work for you but have no underwire. I've got two bra extenders across the back and it's working fine. I'm 32 weeks. Get yourself professionally fitted for free in a shop, but go get some cheap bras as you'll never use them again after pregnancy pretty much.
