For the girlfriend issue: The other poster is right and she needs to be clear about the issue she has with you. She's not your teacher but she should be your partner and communication is part of good relationship.

For the bible thing: From what I've seen the bible can be quite contradictory and confusing to even a neurotypical. I myself am agnostic now in part of how much many of the 'rules' of religions confused me (especially as I compared them to each other). I myself predominantly use the values from the Scouting organisation as general rules to be a good person.

However, if comprehension is an issue you may want to look at resources designed for younger audiences, perhaps like a high-school religion textbook, I've seen that they are designed to assist with your issue and I seriously prefer the language in them (and by that I mean high school textbooks) to the ones I have currently
