Little hockey player helping another player from the opposite team after she fell

I agree. I play quidditch (like the Harry Potter sport, yeah) competitively in college and it’s super easy to injure/hurt other people since there’s 4 balls flying around and it’s full contact. I have a lot of respect for the people who come up after the game and apologize for an accidental hit or for getting too worked up. It’s hard to notice it in the game and you’re right, it’s sometimes better to focus on playing not on how the other team is feeling. But after the game, or during a free moment, it is a sign of good sportsmanship to acknowledge the other team’s humanity and the fact that while you are playing a tough sport, nobody wants to hurt anybody else.
