I’ve only been looking at the numbers for a few minutes so this might be a bad take, honestly i expected the numbers to be worse.

Whites make up 78%of the labor market but only 56% off software engineers. African Americans 12% and 5% respectively. While obviously it’s lower than you might expect if everything was broken down ideally, that’s not how things work. If anything, women seem a lot more disadvantaged.

I’m sure you can find professions in many areas in both directions that are as B lopsided or worse than this, while this specific case may certainly bea result of some kind(s) of discrimination, disparities in general don’t imply it.

And to be clear, I’m not using these numbers to imply anything necessarily. Companies almost certainly should be doing more than they are, I was just expecting them to be worse (than my not-super-informed quick reasearch has shown)
