I've lived in North Little Rock and Cabot. NLR is great cause you're close to everything, but despite my place being decent, it did not feel 100% safe. Cabot is growing and the housing options are plentiful. Idk if you're looking for a house or apartment, but apartment wise, Cabot has The Pointe and they're pretty much brand new (2016). They're spacious and fantastic. They accomodate pets fairly well. They seem to have a lot of flexibility in the size of your pets so if you have a big pupper they'd be good for that. It's also only 15 minutes from base and there's like 3 different routes you can take if you're anticipating traffic. One of which that goes to the back gate which is hardly ever busy.
