So if you aren't aware, most of the shite pushed by Walmart is at a 300% markup and we're talking everything here. Not only that they have contracts with companies, you name the brand they have a contract, usually it's a cheaper quality cheaper made specifically made for Walmart, all of your tvs and electronics during a black Friday event is also part of this, sure everyone makes out. You think you get a great deal. But the facts are what you paid for is just that. Lesser quality with a brand name.

Look I worked for them for years I could see what their costs actually were, and saw some companies like good year decline to make a cheaper tire when they demanded it be made much cheaper, Goodyear on 235 75 15s a popular size for jeeps. Good year made them as cheap as they could and it showed.

There were also dvd/vcr players. 3 names 3 prices and when compared the exact same thing from the same factory, the difference is you can pay the extra 30 for a name or not. But no actual difference.

The other half of this story is when retailers can't sell even when they mark stuff down they still make profits. It's very very rare to see anything even in clearance going for less than cost. So the fact they are making a squeeze in the first place is only because they can. And people keep buying it regardless of inflation as it's accepted and we can't control it.
