This SwSh shitstorm is just like watching the Democrats vs Republicans (fitting since they gave it a play on the word Brexit for the movement, gotta keep it political amirite?), except it's over a children's video game.

There are some reviews citing pokemon. But no enough to be considered review bombing imo. Also, people need to realize that people have written legitimate reviews that were fueled by their anger or bias before. Just because it has genuine statements does not mean the writer is not a "disgruntled Pokefan."

More importantly, both sides of this are incredibly stupid. A fair chunk of the Pokemon community have been salty at Gamefreak for YEARS now. Now it's being vocalized heavily over some genuinely controversial changes. That being said, having almost 1000 mons is a stupid fucking idea and their lack of transparency is what created this shitshow. People have come to expect a level of quality that GameFreak either can't keep up with or won't keep up with, most likely based on their dev cycle for this franchise, not out of spite.
