Doesn’t even make sense, because Chinese citizens are most definitely not liberals. If anything, they’d promote conservatives, not censor them since China is more conservative than you’d think for a country ruled by a “communist” party (which is inaccurate but that’s beside the point). Family oriented, believe in a capitalistic market, value individual hardwork/success, etc.
Hell, just look at how they view the US. Many/most citizens literally envy Americans (don’t believe me? Go to China see for yourself. You won’t make it 20 feet down a street without people asking to take a picture with you.)
