Live at Budokan Red Night and Black Night Full HD

Sorry it took a while; was away on vacation, and just found some free time.

Trust me; I know how one can be cynical of any business; esp. looking at U.S.A. CEO pays. I should also warn you that "non-profit" people also make tons of money, even off free labor (but I digress)

To help cleanse the pallet of that bad taste, (there are a few good CEO's in the US who are like the Costco) but to really understand Amuse business you have to look at it from a JPN business standpoint. I think this illustrates the JPN business example the best. You can even look up how Miyamoto and the CEO of Nintendo travels, and it will disgust you how the american counterpart does travels.

Again not all JPN company follow this honor code, but overall Amuse has been very JPN, and really takes care of their artists. They have a roster of long term artists, even when the artists could of shopped around after their contracts are up. This is rare, esp in a dirty business like show business. (I am a former JPN entertainment employee)

As for Amuse; just know that they invest heavily in young talent during a boom. So BABYMETAL & SG projects are assumed to be a investment from the Perfume boom. We also saw a huge push in the kids division last year, with what is assumed to go along with BABYMETAL boom and new strategy.

Now I hate JASRAC; but you can see the breakdown of money here. starts at page 54. The graph is at 160~163. You can see why and how Japan can be a self sustaining music business by looking at the breakdowns. There are a lot of jobs created, and we get people like the president of Tower Records who can push his fav star like Moa.

This isn't meant at you but my overall opinion of the community- There seems to be pride in dicking over the label here. Since the stuff from here spreads fast, its just better to keep the sense of pride and justifying the gray area actions. If it was said in inside a thread, it may be better to not post a new thread, so that the bots and the casual JPN readers to spread it around by finding by making it easier to find.

The shift in /r/BABYMETAL's attitude has become well known, we may get some stuff removed for foreign fans that we actually gained grounds on. There is a lot of grumblings I heard from shareholders which may be what we are seeing lately. It is unfortunate, but /r/BABYMETAL's are seen as alpha's compared other groups, thus used as an analysis model for purchase behaviors dictating distribution. It is a strange issue, since at the end JPN music can be self-sustaining they can fuck us (the foreign fans) over even more if they see it hurting their domestic business.

In the end we just need to go back to having fun instead of being a dick over the 80/20 rule. Make it like fight club, just don't talk about it and esp don't wear with pride. Stay Metal, no need to say you are.
