Live event industry went to zero income in March and will remain at zero until next year: Bandit Lites founder

I think a lot of people are thinking there's going to be a sudden seismic change where THE WORK IS BACK when as of right now all signs point to there being a gradual reopening sometime down the line. I don't know a single IA guy that is planning on letting their card lapse in my Local, most people are getting temp work (fork driving, roofing, deliveries etc) until things open back up.

Even people like me that have been looking to change careers for a while aren't letting their cards lapse as why would I when I can pick up whatever dailies I want in the future? I also can't speak for other Locals but I can imagine that while it might be easier to get on an IA overhire list it's going to be even harder to get membership with the industry having lost a lot of its stability.
