The only way to enter gensokyo is getting spirited away by yukari guess what? she doesnt care about you, you will either get eaten by the youkai yukari delivered you (most likely) or get sent to a random place. Lets say you can choose this and you went to Human Village (Also myouren temple but i am too lazy to add that)
If you dont speak japanese your kind of doomed the people you can talk with are very low.But lets say you do and you went to the Human Village (here is the thing, you cant Yukari wouldnt let you get out alive unless she is bored but lets go with that) If you dont have skills you will live a very tough life but lets say you do. You would stick out as a outsider and people wouldnt be friendly with you because you are not one of them and you are only protected from youkai bad people do exist. Lets say everything worked out for you:Yukari got bored and let you live, you can speak japanese, you have skills to get a job and people are friendly with you.
You notice something? You dont interact with any youkai or rather cant if you want to survive. the friendly youkai decrease by ALOT if your not from gensokyo Aya would kill you she treats people outside the Village very differently, You are lucky kappas hide from humans,Forget the eientei cast you most likely wont find tewi, reisen will kill you, you wont find eirin and kaguya, the entire sdm cast kills you, forest of magic: fairys kill you, the 3 fairys kill you incidentally, garden of sun: yuuka spares you but the fairys dont, cirno kills you, If you meet yuyuko you will be a very unlucky person getting eaten and being a ghost forever, you will die in the underground for many reasons, perhaps you can be of some value to rinnosuke but guess what? He wont help you. you cant get out of kourindou or death and many more Summary:Youkai kills you, Fairys kills you, Celestials wont help you, Tengu kills you, If you seem pathetic(Which you probably will naturally) Kappa kills you, I dont know hermits, Ghosts kills you and many more species kills you alot of places arent safe and you will die in every place except:Hakurei shrine, (If reimu isnt there her friends could kill you and fairys)Myouren temple and human village.
while there are a few friendly ones you most likely wont find them your best bet is myouren temple. In human Village you will live in fear and be trapped all your life without seeing any youkai outside of the ones that visit human village.
Tl;Dr You wont survive even if all odds are with you, you wont see any youkai (except myouren cast if you get so so lucky to meet them) and will live a sad life trapped inside human village being a source for youkai to live.
